Episode 66: Toronto Indigenous Fashion Week

On May 31 – June 3, 2018, Toronto hosted its first Indigenous Fashion Week and our very own Evan Ducharme took the place by storm! This episode is a recount of the event itself and the amazing talent the Indigenous community was able to share at this (hopefully) annual event. Plus the usual sidetracks and nonsense. Get the inside scoop!

We never don’t have something to obsess about and this time around, Katie can’t get enough of fake true crime podcast This Sounds Serious. Katie is pretty familiar with the true crime formula and this parody checks all the true crime boxes. But it’s fake. It really is just so great. Give it a listen on Apple podcasts, Castbox, or wherever.

Evan is obsessed with all the amazing models he met and saw on the runways in Toronto. There was an amazing catalogue of talent and here’s a quick video showcasing what went down.

Abby is obsessed with finally getting some projects done in her sewing room for the first time in 2 years! Feels good to be back behind the cutting table/sewing machine/serger/etc to stretch those fashion muscles.
